The Cabinet of Ministers will approve the rules for improving, selling, leasing or managing seized property in Azerbaijan.
The document was discussed at today's meeting of the parliamentary committee on legal policy and state building.
It was noted that the changes, in addition to increasing the effectiveness of measures taken to secure civil claims and special confiscation, also serve to prevent the loss of value of seized property and, ultimately, to protect the property rights of the property owner.
Since measures related to the management of seized property are related to the content of property rights, a corresponding amendment to the Civil Code is proposed.
The draft law is expected to enter into force on the date of determination of the relevant rules by the Cabinet of Ministers.
